Cruise travel

Have been on 50 cruises, on several lines. Not sure everything has changed for the best. I do find it interesting to read the different perspectives that are out there.
Articles about places I will not be traveling to I usually don't read. Others give me an idea of what is ahead.

CRUISE TRAVEL ALL-RIGHT

THIS IS A EASY TO READ, UNDERSTAND BI-MONTHLY. ARTICLES ARE WELL WRITTEN, AND SEEM TO COVER NUMEROUS ASPECTS OF THE SUBJECT AT HAND. A FAVORED FEATURE OF MINE IS THE PERSONAL REMARKS SUBMITTED BY FELLOW READERS.

No In Depth Reporting

I use the product to read about destinations, letters from fellow cruisers and read about the ships. This is not about in depth reporting - a perfect example is the Costa Concordia tragedy. It is hardly mentioned and when it is it is by fellow cruisers. The writers are also given free cruises so they really don't give bad reviews. They gloss over the not so good things. Cruise Travel is still an entertaining magazine, an easy read and is not very thick.

Good for Those that Want Some Experience

Cruise Travel magazine gives a good portrait of cruise ships and cruise ports. Some of the reviews are very informative.

Not Worth the Cost

Very disappointed in this subscription not getting it every month you would think it would have substance to it, but it is very thin and very few articles or stories. I know there are more cruise lines than the meager ones they cover. Would not suggest it, it wasn't for me at least.
